Products

Yes, all of our products are 100% vegan. When we reference things like bioengineered 'spider silk' we are not referencing an animal bi-product, but an ingredient that is engineered in a lab to mimic the qualities of 'spider silk'.

All of our products are 100% cruelty free and we're in the process of receiving our Leaping Bunny certification.

Yes, all of our products are formulated without fragrance.

No, all Freaks of Nature products are proudly made with non-nano particles.

'Bio-based' ingredients are ingredients derived from natural sources such as plants, minerals, and microorganisms. These are an alternative to synthetic or fossil based ingredients. If you have any questions about a specific ingredient, please review our ingredient page.

Freaks of Nature products are proudly formulated for all skin types. All of our products are dermatologist tested for safety and all ingredients are deemed non-comedogenic. If you have any questions about a specific ingredient, please review our ingredient page. If you have any concerns, we recommend conducting a patch test or sharing our ingredient list with your healthcare provider.

Nothing in our formulas has been identified as unsafe for pregnant or breastfeeding persons and we adhere to all mandatory guidelines to ensure the safety of our products. If you have concerns we recommend you consult with your physician.

Yes, all of our products are 100% mineral sunscreens and safe enough for your children. If you have a child 6 months or younger please consult with a physician.

Expiration dates are printed on the bottom of our SPF products and expire within 36 months. We recommend all products be used 6 months after opening to maintain freshness and efficacy.

Freaks of Nature products are formulated with the highest standards. Though we are direct-to-consumer, our ingredient lists are in line with clean standards specified by third-party retailers such as Credo and Wholefoods standards.

Freaks of Nature does not formulate with chemicals UV filters, parabens, PEGS, phthalates, silicones, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances, sulfates, phosphates or formaldehyde.

Yes, our products are Hawaii Reef Compliant Act 104.

Yes, our packaging is a mono-material, made from 100% recycled Oceanworks plastics. Please recycle our bottles with like material.

Orders and Payments

Navigate to the account section, sign in and click orders. You will be able to see tracking numbers for each order that has shipped. After placing an order you will also receive an email with tracking.

We aim to process orders at our fulfillment center as quickly as possible so we cannot guarantee we will be able to make a change to an order after it has been placed. If you'd like to make a change to your order please email hi@freaksofnature.com with your order number and the details of the change and we will do our best to accommodate.

We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa), PayPal and Apple Pay.

Your credit card will be charged as soon as the order is processed.

If you receive a damaged or missing item, we apologize! Please take a picture of the package within 48 hours and reach out to hi@freaksofnature.com with your order number and the details. We will work to resolve the issue immediately. 

SHIPPING, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

All orders will ship within 3 days of order receipt. Our standard shipping policy takes anywhere from 4-9 days, depending on location, and our expedited service takes anywhere from 3-5 days.

We currently ship within the USA. We hope to begin shipping to Canada, the UK and Europe soon. Please sign up for our newsletter for more details.

Standard shipping is complementary on orders of $50 and over. If your order is below $50 then standard shipping is $9 and our expedited shipping is between $10-20 based on the product volume ordered.

If you wish to initiate a return for your order please reach out to hi@freaksofnature.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused in their original carton packaging and, at this time, we do not provide the shipping label or cost of postage.

If you receive a damaged or missing item, we apologize! Please take a picture of the package within 48 hours and reach out to hi@freaksofnature.com with your order number and the details. We will work to resolve the issue immediately.

In some instances, it may take our customer service 1-2 to review your return request. Once a return is dropped off and scanned by the shipping carrier, the return is processed - credit card refunds usually take 3-10 business days to appear on your statement.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

We offer a monthly subscription for our products so that you never run out of your skincare. Select delivery every 1, 2 or 3 months for 15% off the product + free shipping. To subscribe, head to the product page and select the `Subscribe` option and select your preferred delivery cadence.

Your next subscription will ship between 1-3 months from your original shipment, depending on your requested frequency.

You can cancel or change your subscription at any time by visiting the manage my subscription page in your Freaks of Nature Account.

You will be billed for your subscription on the day the order replenishment is generated and processed at our warehouse.
